Gorgeous Vintage Signed Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver & Mixed Married Metal Fish Pendant Necklace features a sophisticated geometric fish design that is comprised of sterling silver, turquoise, onyx and brass on a sterling silver chain. The tail piece is hinged and moves back and forth.There is a loop piece that catches the chain on the back side. This piece is signed and was made by Los Castillo workshop in Guerrero Mexico. Los Castillo is renowned for their high-quality craftsmanship and expertise especially when it comes to the married metal technique and this pendant is no exception. The legs, eye and ears are hollowed out, (vent holes?) and the entire piece is finished with a mossy green glaze. This wonderfully detailed piece is indicative of Italian made Bitossi art pottery, also produced in the mid 20th century.
Exquisite Art Nouveau Cast Brass Double Arm Wall Sconce with Steuben Glass Shades. This beautiful, classically designed fixture features a wonderful leaf and berry motif with scroll arms a beaded design around the bobeches and has a luminous gold painted finish. The fixture is fitted with two beautiful hand blown Steuben glass shades in the Gold Aurene Iridescent Shades that shimmer greens, yellows and oranges. Steuben is know for their extremely high quality glass designs and finishes and are arguably one of the best manufacturers of art glass next to Tiffany. These elegant shades compliment the ornate sconce fixture perfectly. This is a solid, heavy piece has two holes in the back plate and has been wired for wall mount installation. It has not been tested to see if it works but the wires are in good shape and could be easily rewired if necessary.
