The figures do not attract a magnet - the round bases do, but the attraction is weak). This is a complete set that has a medieval design and each piece has a good weight to it. Included are sixteen (16) pawns - 3" high x 1 1/8" diameter at the base, two (2) queens - 3 3/4" high x 1 1/4" diameter at the base, two (2) kings - 4" high x 1 1/4" diameter at the base, four (4) knights - 3" high x 1 1/4" diameter at the base, four (4) bishops - 3 1/4" high x 1 1/8" diameter at the base, and four (4) rooks - 2 1/2" high x 1 1/4" diameter at the base. It does not come with a board but has a versatile design and great vintage look to it. A great gift for any chess enthusiast! |
