Sold	$600.00 Sold	Wonderful Vintage Judaica silver etrog container (spice box or estrog box) used in the Jewish Festival of Booths or Sukkot. The box is hallmarked with what appears to be the Austrian hallmark for 800 silver. The box has four feet and lock & key (although the mechanism does not seem to be working). The exterior of the etrog is decorated with chase work. The motif is Victorian era scrolling leaf-like forms.
	$250.00	Whirling Dervish Ceremony Five (5) Piece Set by Yildiz Imperial Porcelain, Turkey. Included are three Dancers, one flutist and one drummer. They are all beautifully matte white. Sufi whirling is a form of Sama or physically active mediation which originated among Sufis and which is still practiced by the Sufi Dervishes of the Mevlevi order. It is a customary dance performed within the Sema, or worship ceremony, through which dervishes (also called semazens) aim to reach the source of all perfection, or kemal.
