RICHARD-GINORI tea set, including tray, teapot, sugar and creamer, two cups with saucers. Transfer decorated with different scenes on each piece (see attached photos). The marquis Carlo Ginori founded the MANIFATTURA DI DOCCIA in 1735. In 1896, the factory was acquired by the milanese group CERAMICA RICHARD, founded by Giulio RICHARD ... hence the new name RICHARD-GINORI. This company still produces exquisite ceramics today and is well know to enlist extraordinary talents such as that of GIO PONTI (who won the Gran Prix at the Paris Expo of 1925 exactly for the ceramics he made for Richard-Ginori).
